Turn your provisional cover into a full statutory membership with Krankenversichertennummer.

Once you have an address, enrolment and Steuer-ID, activate your statutory health insurance (TK, AOK, Barmer, DAK). The provider issues a Krankenversichertennummer (KVNR) and a chip card (eGK), and sends the M10 confirmation to your university.
Why it's needed
Universities require M10 electronic confirmation before enrolment is complete; hospitals require the eGK card.
